So, if you’re considering applying for Ecole Hoteliere Lavasa’s (LEH) course in Hospitality Management, you should know a few important things:
Foremost among these is the Admission Procedures at LEH. Before applying you might wanna know what are some of the Academic qualifications that the college requires. So note the following:
• The basic requirement for admission is the completion of the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) or its equivalent (10+2) in any stream (Science, Arts and Commerce)
• Students who are appearing for International Baccalaureate Programme are also eligible for enrolment
• A minimum 50% marks need to be obtained for eligibility
• Fluency in written and spoken English Language is mandatory
So, if you make the cut then read on!
Next, you need to fill out an Application form which can be downloaded from the college website. Or, if this proves difficult, just write to the college and request for a form.

There is an application fee of Rs. 1000 and you can either pay via DD/Cheque/Pay Order – check out the website for more details on this.
Okkkkkk!!!! Now, if you’ve reach this far and are wondering what next….well here’s what will happen…
Your application will be screened and if you’re shortlisted, you’ll be informed by email or phone. Then the college will call you in for tests and personal interviews with the Dean. If you’re successful, you will receive a confirmation letter within 15 working days of the completion of preliminary selection rounds.

If you don’t make the first cut, don’t fret – the college issues a second list of waitlisted candidates who are given admission against vacancies.
Now, once you’re through, all selected candidates have to make a down payment of Rs. 1, 00,000/- (Rupees one lakh) in order to have a confirmed place for the academic year. This amount is adjusted against the first semester tuition fees. After which, you will receive a provisional admission letter and an invitation to the course Orientation Program commencing 1st July, 2010.
Hey and don’t forget to attach all those documents to your application form. In case you need to recheck what these are, here’s a list :
1. Birth Certificate
2. School Leaving Certificate
3. Student Identification e.g.: Photo ID/Driving License/Passport
4. Class X certificate and Class XII certificate (Those appearing for Class XII Board exam may also apply). Admissions are subject to candidates successfully passing the exam
5. Passport size photograph (3.5×4.5cm) and a full length photograph in formal wear
6. Experience certificate from employers along with 2 references (For those candidates who are already employed)
7. A Medical certificate certifying good health
